Virtual design through augmented reality glasses.

It started.

This year VR has come to interior design forever. Soon it will become a part of our daily life. And over time, it may melt with the real environment, so that both realities will be indistinguishable...

This will become as obvious as daily Internet access. Or maybe air. Fascinated by the new VR technology - from virtual reality - they have no doubts, and skepticism usually makes them laugh.

Did anyone imagine 10 years ago that the whole family would be sitting at the table, everyone was looking at the screen of their own phone?!

Virtual reality in interior design forever?!

Spatial imagination is a skill that has been the subject of research for many years. If only for a moment the results of the study reveal that some are born with it, while others are simply studying it. Several years ago, a study at the University of Toronto showed that people who play computer games are better at testing 3D solids.

Unfortunately, not every interior designer client is an active player and hence misunderstandings sometimes occur in this industry. A table that is too small or an uncomfortable distance between the sofa and the TV is not as big a problem as a bathroom that is too small. Unfortunately, such problems are usually discovered only after the completion of construction work, being at the same time a source of conflict.

That is why design software developers have over the years surpassed themselves with the most accurate representation of reality in the virtual world. Photorealistic 3D renderings, which appeared a few years ago, were a huge breakthrough, but they are still flat. For this purpose, when designing them, designers use a wide angle during rendering to show as much as possible, resulting in little distortion.

Clients expect the best and finest tools for presenting interior design. The first revolutionary step was to create an animation in the form of a video footage from the design interior. Along with the growing popularity of 3D TVs, movies were also "going on the air" so you could see more and more of the space. However, the viewer was still a passive observer. That's why the second step was taken, allowing the designers and their clients to find their way inside the project.

An interesting fact is that you can view our virtual design through augmented reality glasses using cardboard glasses.

All you have to do is put on your head VR glasses with a phone displaying an interior previously exported by the designer. This functionality became popular very quickly, mainly due to its simplicity and short set-up time.

But that's not all!

Currently, work is underway to use professional VR glasses for the presentation. This technology allows you to enter the interior of the project and move freely around it, which is possible thanks to an intuitively controlled controller.

However, that's not all - you can also walk and look around in all directions using your legs and head. The introduction of this technology has been and will be a great help for designers. Instead of generating multiple render files, all you need to do is prepare one file that will be ready to run your presentation on VR glasses (a virtual reality).

In addition, they can "walk" around the designed premises in the same way as you can move freely in a computer game. By wearing VR glasses, you can feel at home and have the opportunity to experience this innovative, imaginative solution. Imagination seems to affect other senses, not vision.

See how we represent it in our company. here to register:

If this is an interior simulation, perhaps in the future it will need to be combined with smell and sound in order to reproduce as accurately as possible the conditions prevailing in an apartment, house, cottage, villa, restaurant, hotel, residence, apartments, palaces, castles or yachts in a virtual reality and gain virtual design through augmented reality glasses in Minsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kyiv, Slovenia, Poland, Gdansk, Sopot, Warsaw, Paris, Nice and French Riviera, Dubai, USA and in all international design.

Over the years, the ways in which projects are presented have evolved, adapted to technological possibilities and market requirements. Many years ago, designers were limited to a sketchbook and a pencil, today they just have a huge selection so that everyone can choose their own comfortable working style. The search for solutions saturates the market with new products, alternatives appear, but time will tell which one will become the standard, which will break and will the pencil still have its renaissance?
